Rememory (2017)

'Without memories, the present would be void of context'

IMDb Plot Summary: The widow of a wise professor stumbles upon one of his inventions that's able to record and play a person's memory.

The IMDb plot summary for this movie doesn't do this film any justice. So this is what the movie is all about. Gordon Dunn has invented a machine that can fetch the memories of a person, anything a person has even lived through even if he doesn't remember it himself, up to the minutest detail and play it back to them as a video on a screen. One day, he mysteriously dies. This is when a strange man, Sam, played by Peter Dinklage, goes around trying to find out how Gordon died, suspecting that foul play was involved.

This movie will take you on an emotional ride. If you are looking for an 'experience', this movie is the one for you. Dim the lights, put on your headphones and let the movie do its magic. Its got some awesome soundtracks that will get you right in the mood. While I'm not a big fan of acting by some of the cast members, Peter Dinklage is just perfect and I feel he's such a perfect casting for this film that I don't think anyone else could have done it any better. Yes, this film can seem to be slow at times but the way this movie carries the viewer into a world of its own somewhat makes up for it. Depending on how much attention you have been paying to the movie, you may or may not see what's coming, but very likely, its gonna pleasantly surprise you. And the way this movie ends is simply gorgeous.

An IMDb 8/10. Recommended watch for sure.
