IMDb Plot Summary: Between his friends and the family business, Arnaud's summer looks set to be a peaceful one. Peaceful until he runs into Madeleine, as beautiful as she is brusque, a concrete block of tensed muscles and doomsday prophecies. He expects nothing; she prepares for the worst. He takes things as they come, likes a good laugh. She fights, runs, swims, pushes herself to the limit. Given she hasn't asked him for anything, just how far will he go along with her? It's a love story. Or a story of survival. Or both.

This story is about a girl who believes that an apocalypse is on its way and she has to prepare for it, and the way to do that is by joining the hardest military regiment to learn how to survive in the harshest conditions. This story is also about a guy, who has a chance encounter with this girl during a fight (which he technically loses but bites the girl into victory), sees himself falling for her. He follows her into a military bootcamp, but soon they realize it is not so easy. Along the way, their bonds grow stronger and they realize the importance of relying on each other to survive.

Its not so often that I come across such 'modern feel good' movies that are done great, but when I happen to find one, I just absolutely love them. This movie does have its flaws, a slow moving plot being the biggest of them but nevertheless, this movie does its job.

A nice foreign film on adventure, survival and above all, love. An IMDb 7/10.

Ladies Room (2016) IMDb Plot Summary: This is a story of two besties and the mental adventures they go through in six different loos. It is a show about modern young 'girl bros' struggling to grow up even as they grow old. These girls are mad, bad and completely unapologetic about it! This show is about the story of two young girls living a very dysfunctional life. Every single episode of this Indian TV miniseries takes place in a loo and for most parts, in a loo alone. And its pretty damn amazing. The script is good, the punches are on point, the acting is pretty much all you could wish for and its all topped with amazing direction, set, etc. etc. Apart from slight problems in the script and direction here and there, its a really good miniseries to watch.
